Privacy Policy

How BettorIndex collects, uses, and protects your information.

This Privacy Policy describes how BettorIndex ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application on iOS and Android (the "App") and related website.

1. Information We Collect

Account data: If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive information needed to authenticate you (such as a provider identifier and, when shared by the provider, your email address). We store account and session data with our authentication provider to operate sign-in and account features.
Subscription and purchase data: If you subscribe or make in-app purchases, Apple App Store or Google Play processes payment. We may receive entitlement or transaction metadata (such as whether a subscription is active, expired, or renewed, product identifiers, and transaction identifiers). We do not receive your full payment card details. We may log subscription-related analytics events (such as when checkout starts, a free trial begins, or a paid subscription is completed) for product and marketing measurement.
Advertising and attribution data: We use mobile analytics and attribution tools to understand how users find and use the App, including whether an install or subscription may be related to an advertising campaign. Depending on your device settings and permissions, this may include device and app identifiers (such as an advertising identifier on iOS when you allow tracking, or an AppsFlyer identifier), install and session data, in-app event names, and related technical metadata. We do not use this data to sell your personal information.
Usage data: We may collect information about how you use the App, such as feature usage, session activity, app version, device type, and operating system (iOS or Android).
Support communications: If you contact us, we collect the information you provide (such as your email address and message content).

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide, operate, and improve App features and analytics.
To authenticate you and manage your account.
To verify subscription status and deliver paid features.
To measure marketing performance and attribute installs and subscriptions to advertising campaigns.
To respond to user inquiries and support requests.
To maintain security, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.

3. Data Sharing

Third-party APIs: We use third-party services to provide sports data, odds, and related content. Limited technical data may be shared with these providers as needed to deliver App features.
App stores: Apple and Google process payments and subscription management. Their use of your data is governed by their respective privacy policies when you subscribe or purchase through their stores.
Analytics and attribution partners: We use AppsFlyer as a mobile measurement partner to analyze installs, app usage, and in-app events (including subscription funnel events). AppsFlyer may share aggregated or event-level data with advertising partners (such as Meta) to measure ad performance when you have allowed tracking or when applicable privacy-preserving frameworks (such as Apple's SKAdNetwork) are used.
Authentication and infrastructure providers: We use service providers to host authentication, backend services, and related infrastructure. They may access information only to perform services on our behalf.
No sale of data: We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Advertising, App Tracking, and Your Choices (iOS)

On iOS, the App may ask for permission to track activity across other companies' apps and websites for advertising measurement. Our request explains that BettorIndex uses this identifier to measure ad performance and improve the App, and that your data is not sold to third parties.

If you allow tracking, we and our partners (including AppsFlyer and, through configured integrations, advertising platforms such as Meta) may use identifiers like the IDFA to help attribute installs and in-app events to ads.
If you deny tracking or do not grant permission, the App still works. We may still collect limited analytics and subscription events through our measurement partners using other technical means permitted by Apple (such as SKAdNetwork and aggregated attribution), but ad attribution may be less precise.
You can change iOS tracking preferences at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, and manage subscriptions in your Apple ID or App Store settings.

5. Artificial Intelligence

BettorIndex does not currently use artificial intelligence, machine learning, or generative AI to process your personal data or to generate App content. We do not collect chat messages or similar inputs for AI processing.

6. Data Security

We use reasonable measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. User Rights

You may request deletion of your account and associated data using in-app account deletion or by contacting us at support@bettorindex.app.
Subscription management and certain purchase records are controlled by Apple or Google; you may also use your app store account settings to manage those records.
On iOS, you may limit ad tracking through system settings as described above. Depending on your location, you may have additional privacy rights under applicable law.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 17. If you are under 17, please do not use the App.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted in the App and/or on our website with an updated effective date.
